Common Questions from Parents
We know that starting this journey can feel like a lot. Here are some of the things parents often ask us as they begin to seek support for their little ones.
How do online sessions actually work?
When you book your session(s), you will gain access to a virtual meeting link for your session. I’ll guide you through activities in real-time within the comfort of your own home environment. This allows us to use your child’s favorite toys and routines, making the learning natural and immediately applicable. Please make sure to have a functioning camera and microphone!
What ages do you support?
I specialize in early intervention and pediatric development, primarily supporting families with children from birth through elementary school age. Older clients are also welcome!
What does a typical session look like?
Every session is a partnership. We usually start with a quick check-in on progress, then move into guided interactions where I coach you on specific techniques while you play or feed your child. We end with simple, actionable steps for you to try during the week.
Do I need to prepare anything before we start?
Not at all. You don’t need special gadgets or a perfectly tidy room. The best “preparation” is just being yourself. I might occasionally ask you to have a favorite toy or snack handy, but our goal is to keep things stress-free.
How do scheduling and rescheduling work?
Life with kids is unpredictable, and I get that. You can book or adjust sessions through our online calendar. We simply ask for 24 hours’ notice for reschedules so we can offer that time to another family in need.
How is my family’s privacy handled?
Your privacy is my priority. All coaching sessions are conducted via HIPAA-compliant, encrypted software. Your records and our conversations are strictly confidential, ensuring a safe space for you to share your concerns.
What results can I expect for my child?
While every child blossoms at their own pace, parents typically report feeling more confident, less overwhelmed, and better equipped to handle communication or feeding challenges. You’ll see small, meaningful victories that build into lasting progress.
